Grow legal
Terms of Service
The ground rules for using Grow, managing your membership, and keeping your cultivation journal secure.
Effective September 8, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Grow at grow.thetechmutt.com. By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using Grow, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and lawful use
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase a membership, or use Grow. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age, that higher age applies. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement, are legally able to enter into this agreement, and may lawfully access cultivation information where you live. You are responsible for understanding and following all laws, regulations, lease terms, and other rules that apply to you. Grow does not authorize illegal cultivation or any other illegal activity.
Educational information only
Grow provides general educational and organizational information. It is not legal, medical, safety, laboratory, or professional horticultural advice. Cultivation outcomes vary with genetics, environment, equipment, materials, technique, and other factors. Grow does not guarantee plant health, yield, potency, safety, legality, or any particular result. Use your judgment and obtain qualified professional guidance when appropriate.
Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and securing devices that can access Grow. Notify the developer through the Account area if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not share an account in a way that bypasses membership limits or attempt to access another member’s information.
Private journal storage
Grow stores journal text and structured records in private, account-scoped server storage so they can be loaded after you sign in. Grow uses authenticated requests and ownership checks designed to prevent one member from accessing another member’s journal. No storage system is guaranteed against every failure, so you remain responsible for maintaining any separate records you consider essential.
Your photos and content
You retain ownership of photos and other content you provide. You give Grow a limited license to host, process, resize, and display uploaded photos solely to operate the service for you. You represent that you have the rights needed to upload your content and that it does not violate law, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or these Terms. Do not upload harmful code, unlawful content, or content belonging to another person without permission.
Memberships, billing, and cancellation
Grow is available through paid memberships. Prices, billing intervals, and included features are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe through Paid Memberships Pro. Recurring memberships continue until cancelled.
Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel at any time from the Grow Account area to prevent future renewals. After cancellation, access continues through the end of your current paid billing period. Completed charges are non-refundable except where required by law or when Grow expressly states otherwise in writing.
Grow may change membership pricing or features prospectively. Material changes affecting an existing paid renewal will be communicated as required, and will not retroactively change a completed billing period.
Affiliate links
Grow may link to third-party products and may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. Affiliate placement does not guarantee that a product is appropriate for your setup. Third-party purchases, products, warranties, shipping, returns, and privacy practices are governed by the seller’s terms.
Acceptable use
You may not interfere with Grow’s operation or security; bypass access, storage, or membership limits; probe accounts or private files; use automated requests in a way that burdens the service; upload malicious material; impersonate another person; or use Grow to violate law or another person’s rights.
Service availability and changes
Grow is evolving and may add, remove, or change features. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, hosting problems, security events, or circumstances outside Grow’s control. Grow may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address nonpayment, or respond to a material violation of these Terms.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grow is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, data preservation, or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grow and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost crops, profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use Grow. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid to Grow during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
Account deletion
You may delete your account through the Account area. Grow will first attempt to cancel active recurring billing, then delete the WordPress account, journal records, and associated Grow photos. Certain payment and transaction records may be retained when required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Changes to these Terms
Grow may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date will be updated when changes are published. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, Grow will provide it as required. Continuing to use Grow after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Contact developer form in the Grow Account area.
